Kunskapsskolan in Sweden, which also includes Kunskapsgymnasiet, started its first schools in 2000 and today has 29 primary schools and six upper secondary schools with 1,350 employees and 14,400 students. Kunskapsskolan is owned by its founder, Peje Emilsson, and his family.
Kunskapsskolan Västerås is looking for an After-School Leader
At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pedagogy that is personally designed and based on the individual. Through our working method, we create close relationships between staff and students, which provides the conditions for every student to achieve further than they themselves believe is possible. In an environment where the student can be themselves and receives the right support and challenges, we create a school where both students and staff thrive and develop.
Kunskapsskolan Västerås is a primary school for grades 4-9 and currently has approximately 530 students. The school started in 2001 and is among the upper secondary schools with the highest grade point average in Västmanland. The waiting lists for students are long, which is proof that the school has a good reputation. We have ambitious, skilled teachers, and we are a school where we are passionate about our students.

Job Responsibilities
We want you to be a stable and secure person with great patience. In collaboration with the school's after-school pedagogue, you will plan and arrange break activities to strengthen community and security for the school's students. Your work as an after-school leader includes break supervision, as well as serving as an extra resource during lessons where you will support and guide one or more students.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have knowledge and/or experience from working with children and young people. As a person, you are calm, secure, engaged, and flexible. You have self-awareness, patience, and a genuine interest in working with young people.
We place great value on your commitment and personal competence. You are part of a teaching team where you collaborate with teachers in a flexible and constructive manner.
Employment Terms
The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%) with a reserve position clause.
