We are looking for you who are driven, physically strong, and playful with great patience. Our client has both motor and intellectual disabilities and needs extensive support in their daily life.

The tasks include help with all daily activities such as transfers, personal hygiene, meals, and dressing. You will also work actively to stimulate play, interaction, and fine motor development.

The client does not speak and communicates primarily through body language, but is practicing using pictures and signs. Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), or sign-supported communication is an advantage.

You will participate in daily activities and training such as conductive pedagogy, bathing, horse riding, and walks. The work takes place primarily at home together with the family, and some shifts may involve double assistance.

We are looking for you who:

• Wish to work approximately 30% (2–3 weekday afternoons/evenings and 1–2 weekend days every other week)
• Have good physical fitness and can handle lifting and transfers
• Are responsible and attentive
• Are creative and playful
• Are non-smoking

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working as a personal assistant or with children with disabilities
• Experience with small children (0–3 years)
• Knowledge of AAC or other augmentative communication methods
• Experience with horses or dogs
• Driver's license and ability to drive to activities

Personal suitability is highly valued. We would like you to be engaged and willing to develop in the role through training offered by the employer and the habilitation service.
