Our educational activities are located in our three urban areas: Ramnäs, Virsbo, and Surahammar. It includes preschool, preschool class, comprehensive school, adapted comprehensive school, after-school center, and youth center.

Ugglan's Adapted Comprehensive School (Grades 1-9)

An development-oriented and pleasant activity in the urban area of Surahammar. Currently, the school receives approximately 20 students. At Ugglan's adapted comprehensive school, students study subjects or subject areas according to the adapted comprehensive school curriculum. We are looking for you who are positive and have a good ability to create fine relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and other staff with warmth and joy. In working towards the goals, it is important to follow common routines combined with creativity and a solution focus for the students' best interest. The well-being at the workplace is high, and everyone works to ensure that students reach their goals as far as possible based on their individual abilities.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are at least certified preschool teacher/after-school center teacher and want to work with support for students in the adapted comprehensive school. You are with the students throughout the entire school day, both during lessons, during breaks, and at the after-school center. Together with teaching teachers, you work closely with the students to create conditions for learning towards the goals and participation in the teaching. You work together actively to adapt the teaching, provide adequate care, and develop alternative working methods and use compensatory aids to create an accessible and inclusive learning environment.

We work together to create a whole with learning throughout the day and a red thread between school and after-school center for the students, and in this work, you have a significant role. That we work together in school and after-school center where we jointly help each other to create the best conditions for our children/students is our strength. We strive to be an activity with open communication, transparency, and participation.

Qualifications

• You are at least a certified teacher with at least the competence for teaching in preschool/after-school center.
• You are a positive person with a good ability to create good contact with students, guardians, and colleagues. You listen, communicate, and solve situations in a constructive way while creating engagement and participation.
• You easily find forms of cooperation and see the work team as an asset.
• Furthermore, you are engaged with good social skills that contribute to a positive work climate and have the ability to create trusting relationships.
• You work from a clear structure and have good pedagogical skills. As a pedagogue, you adapt the teaching to each student's unique conditions and see school development as a natural part of the task.
• To understand students' different needs, you need to have good analytical and pedagogical skills, high expectations, and a belief that all students can develop.

Before you can be employed, you need to show a clean extract from the police's suspicion register and the criminal record register that is not more than 6 months old.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of registration together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit.
