Ekebyskolan is a middle school centrally located in Sala. The school has approximately 400 students and 45 employees. Our young people come from the central parts of Sala and the surrounding countryside. We strive for our young people to feel safe, develop, and learn new things. Job Responsibilities

The position involves teaching PE for 24%, possibly in combination with another subject in grades 7-9. As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning and implementing the teaching based on current regulatory documents and legislation. You always collaborate in close dialogue with other educators, student health services, school leadership, and other staff at the school. You actively participate in the school's development work and conferences. Together with your colleagues, you work to ensure that all students thrive, learn new things, and develop based on their own prerequisites.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are primarily looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach PE in grades 7-9. You have good knowledge of current regulatory documents and plan, follow up on, and assess teaching based on the central content of the curriculum. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and clear in your work, and have a solution- and result-oriented approach. You enjoy working with others and have a good ability to strengthen students' self-confidence. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Employment Conditions

Permanent position starting from the autumn term 2026; possibly unqualified teachers are employed according to the Education Act.

Start date according to agreement

Probationary employment may be applied

Requirement of police certificate upon offer of employment. This according to the law on register control in school, leisure, and preschool activities. The National Police Board's criminal record register, RPS 442.5 (14-01-14).
