Ekebyskolan is a secondary school centrally located in Sala. The school has approximately 400 students and 45 employees. Our young people come from the central parts of Sala and the surrounding countryside. We strive to ensure that our young people feel safe, develop, and learn new things. Job Responsibilities

The position involves teaching PE for 24%, possibly in combination with another subject in grades 7-9. As a teacher here, you are responsible for planning and implementing the teaching based on current regulatory documents and legislation. You always collaborate in close dialogue with other educators, student health services, school management, and other staff members at the school. You actively participate in the school's development work and conferences. Together with your colleagues, you work to ensure that all students thrive, learn new things, and develop based on their own prerequisites.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are primarily looking for you if you are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach PE in grades 7-9. You have good knowledge of current regulatory documents and plan, follow up on, and assess teaching based on the core content of the curriculum. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and clear in your work, and have a solution- and result-oriented approach. You enjoy working together with others and have a good ability to strengthen students' self-confidence. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Employment Terms

Permanent position starting from the autumn term 2026; possibly non-certified teachers are employed according to the School Act.

Start date according to agreement

Individual salary setting

Probation period may be applied

Requirement of a police certificate upon offer of employment. This according to the law on register control within school, leisure, and preschool activities. The Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register, RPS 442.5 (14-01-14).
