Ekebyskolan is a secondary school centrally located in Sala. The school has approximately 400 students and 45 employees. Our students come from the central parts of Sala as well as the surrounding countryside. We strive for our students to feel safe, develop, and learn new things. Responsibilities

The role involves teaching wood and metal crafts in grades 6–9. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning and implementing teaching based on current regulations and legislation. You collaborate in close dialogue with other pedagogues, student health services, school management, and other staff members. You actively participate in the school's development work and conferences. Together with your colleagues, you work to ensure that all students enjoy themselves, learn new things, and develop according to their own prerequisites.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are primarily looking for a certified teacher with the qualification to teach crafts in grades 7–9. You have good knowledge of current regulations and plan, follow up, and assess teaching based on the central content of the curriculum. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and clear in your work, with a solution- and result-oriented approach. You enjoy working with others and have a good ability to strengthen students' self-confidence. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Terms of Employment

• Permanent position starting from the autumn term 2026. Possibly unqualified teachers will be employed according to the School Act.
• Start date according to agreement.
• Individual salary setting.
• Probation period may apply.

A police certificate is required upon offer of employment, in accordance with the law on register control in school, leisure, and preschool activities (Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register, RPS 442.5).
