About the organization

The Child and Family Units have grown over the years and since 2024 consist of three units. The Child and Family Unit 3 belongs to the Family Support area within the Labor Market and Social Administration. Currently, Child and Family Unit 3 consists of 12 social workers, two team leaders, and one unit manager. In Child and Family Units 1 and 2, there are also two social administrators with whom you will closely collaborate. Child and Family Unit 3 is a unit consisting of an investigation team focused on violence and a reception group. We are positive and engaged employees who work together to carry out legally secure social work of high quality. The unit consciously works with an inclusive approach, reception, and is HBTQ+ certified.

Job Responsibilities

Your tasks include supporting the administrative work within social services, such as attending various types of meetings, documenting, and maintaining records. Sorting and archiving files, retrieving contact information for partners, entering committee decisions, managing bookings, etc. This involves varied work where you need to be flexible and able to take your own initiative. You play a significant role in creating good conditions for managers and caseworkers to conduct a quality-assured operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree as a social administrator with a focus on public administration, administration, or other equivalent education. You have a good understanding of the principle of public access and confidentiality, as well as a solid understanding of how a politically governed organization functions. You have good IT skills and experience with administrative tasks, preferably within public administration. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. Previous experience in similar work is an advantage.

As a person, you have the ability to create structure, plan, ensure, and follow up on your tasks, and you thrive in a fast-paced work environment. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working with many different tasks. We offer a well-thought-out introduction and a pleasant working community.
