Your new role
We are now looking for an experienced and committed Senior Business Controller for a municipal company in Gothenburg. Here you will be offered a central role with both operational and strategic elements in an organization of great societal value.
As a Senior Business Controller, you will report directly to the CEO and be part of the management team. You will lead and coordinate the finance function, with team members in areas such as financial controlling, accounting, and project controlling.
Your main responsibilities:
Strategic and operational financial management as well as active participation in the management team's strategic development
Lead and be responsible for budget and forecasting processes as well as financial reporting and follow-up
Financial analysis and decision support for management and group leaders
Participation in steering groups as an expert in finance and corporate governance
Drive and coordinate development work within governance, management, and internal control

To be successful in this role, you needA degree in business administration or equivalent higher education in economics or public management.
At least 10 years of experience working with finance in municipal operations, preferably within a municipal company.
Several years of documented responsibility for budget and forecasting work as well as financial reporting and follow-up in a leading position.
Experience in management team work.
Preferred: Experience in organizational changes.
Preferred: Experience in business development and change management.
Preferred: Good system knowledge in Nexxus Hypergene, BI support, Cognos, and Stratsys.
