We are now looking for a Senior Accountant for an exciting consulting assignment with an international organization. The assignment involves strengthening a European accounting team during a period of high regulatory demands and intensive reporting processes.

You will be an important part of a team responsible for reporting for several European markets. The role involves both operational accounting work and efforts to develop and improve existing processes.

The assignment is on-site in Gothenburg and gives you the opportunity to work closely with the business and contribute to effective financial flows in an international environment.

Your responsibilities 💼

• Be the process owner for year-end closing including audits • Support the team in work related to annual reports and audits • Conduct in-depth analyses of existing accounting processes • Identify and implement improvements in working methods and routines • Act as an advisory partner in accounting matters for new business flows • Contribute to efficient and accurate reporting for several European companies

Requirements 🎯

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or equivalent • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or financial control • Experience working with year-end closing and audits • Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Preferred experience 💻

• Experience working in SAP • Experience from international organizations or groups • Familiarity with process improvement in accounting
