About Us

The emergency department in Skövde at Skaraborg Hospital is one of Sweden's largest and most modern emergency departments.

The operations are conducted in new, purpose-built facilities and have a potential patient flow of approximately 70,000 patients per year. The emergency department is open around the clock, has its own pediatric track, radiology on-site, and is one of the region's five trauma hospitals.

Approximately 200 employees from various professions work here in close and interdisciplinary collaboration.

About the Position

As a receptionist, you are the first person our patients meet when they arrive at the emergency department. Your main task is to register the patient in our systems, as well as to inquire about the reason for their visit and register this information. You will work closely with nursing staff who manage our triage, where the initial assessment of the patient's health status is made. If hired, you will receive thorough training.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

In this position, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, empathetic, has an eye for detail, and the ability to act professionally even under high workload. You should also have good computer skills and be quick to learn new data systems. Previous experience in healthcare or administrative work is seen as a positive, but it is not a requirement for the position.
