Are you a student at the University of Gothenburg looking for a rewarding and fun part-time job? We are currently seeking approximately eight digital student creators to primarily work with the University of Gothenburg's channels on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. We welcome your application!

Young people interested in further education are one of the most important target groups for a university. To communicate with prospective students, we use current students who represent the university in various ways, sharing stories about education and student life in Gothenburg. Social media is a key channel in this communication.

The position is located at the Communication Unit, part of the university's central administration. Here, we work with communication across many different areas: internal communication, research communication, digital channels, student recruitment, and more.

Responsibilities

• Plan content for our social media channels together with other student creators and communicators.
• Create content such as vlogs, Q&As, and interviews.
• Shoot, photograph, edit, and cut content.

Qualifications

• Requirement: You must be a full-time student at the University of Gothenburg and have studied for at least one semester.
• Requirement: Good knowledge of Swedish and the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.
• Requirement: Experience with social media and knowledge of the conditions of different platforms.
• Requirement: Ability to perform in front of a camera, interact easily with others, and/or film and edit videos for social media.
• Merit: Previous experience with similar tasks.

To succeed in this role, you need to enjoy working with people. We place great importance on personal qualities such as teamwork, drive, and a sense of responsibility. You need to have a down-to-earth approach and be able to dedicate at least two hours per week to the work.

Employment

The position is an intermittent employment for 12 months, with placement at the Communication Unit in Gothenburg until further notice. Start date in May or by agreement.

The job title for this employment is Assistant.

Hourly wage applies.
