Kinnekulle Energi AB is owned by Götene Elförening. It is a cooperative founded as early as 1932 to secure and expand electricity distribution in the region. Now, with over 90 years as an established player in the area, it is still our approximately 3,200 members who own the cooperative and, through the general assembly and board of directors, work to deliver stable, secure, and sustainable energy supply throughout our area.

Operations are conducted through Kinnekulle Energi AB, which, with its broad range of services and combined expertise, is a modern and thriving energy company with ambitious future plans. Together, we stand strong and offer sustainable, cost-effective, and long-term energy solutions to both private individuals and businesses of all sizes.

Our over 50 dedicated employees work daily on both the maintenance and development of critical infrastructure in the form of power grids and fiber networks. At the same time, we are at the forefront regarding contracting and various energy services. We value local presence and are available to our customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with a delivery reliability of 99.9% regarding distribution to our approximately 7,500 grid customers.

In addition to operations within our own area, we also assist other grid companies with operations and monitoring. Our contracting business is also involved in many different projects throughout electricity area 3. The group also includes an Elon store where, as an employee, you have the opportunity to shop at favorable prices.

About the Position

As an Accounting Assistant, you will become a central part of the finance function, working closely with both the CFO and the controller. Here, you are offered a varied role in a team characterized by job satisfaction, short decision-making paths, involvement, and significant personal responsibility. You will work both operationally and proactively, responsible for ongoing financial work while being expected to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to increased automation and efficiency.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Accounts payable and management of incoming invoices
  • Customer invoicing and follow-up of invoice flows
  • Ongoing bookkeeping
  • Monthly reconciliations and support during year-end closing
  • VAT reporting
  • Handling of energy tax and billing data
  • Collection and compilation of accounting data from various operations and systems
  • Closer collaboration with customer service, the store, and other internal functions

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in finance, for example as an accounting assistant or in a similar role. Alternatively, you have a post-secondary education in finance and some experience in practical financial work. Experience working with Fortnox is considered an asset.

About the Employment

This is a direct recruitment where you will be employed by Kinnekulle Energi.

  • Scope: Full-time
  • Start: As soon as possible/agreed upon, considering notice periods
  • Location: Järnvägsgatan 29, Götene. Some remote work opportunities are offered
  • Working hours: 07:30–16:00 with flexible hours
