At Blomsterlandet, we meet customers every day who want to grow, plant, and create with plants. As more customers interact with us digitally, it becomes increasingly important that our online experience is just as inspiring, simple, and relevant as a visit to our physical store.

About the role

As an Online Merchandiser, you are responsible for optimizing the customer experience and sales in our digital channels. The role combines commercial drive with analysis, structure, and an understanding of customer behavior.

You will work closely with the E-commerce Manager, Web Manager, and other functions such as marketing, purchasing, CRM, and operations to ensure that the assortment, campaigns, and content are presented correctly throughout the entire customer journey.

The role also has a special responsibility for creating a balance between sales, profitability, capacity, and customer experience – not least in relation to our flower delivery service and digital flows.

Your main responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

  • optimize product presentation, categories, and content on the website
  • plan and execute online campaigns and merchandising activities
  • optimize the homepage, category pages, and product listings based on data and customer behavior
  • track KPIs such as conversion, average order value, and profitability
  • conduct A/B tests and continuous improvements of the customer experience
  • ensure a correct, complete, and commercially prioritized assortment online
  • work closely with marketing, purchasing, CRM, and technology to create a unified customer experience
  • be responsible for the commercial coordination within the flower delivery service
  • coordinate dialogue with external partners regarding capacity, forecasts, and delivery capability
  • manage item data, availability, and simpler changes in Shopify
  • track order data, margins, and costs related to digital sales
  • produce reports, analyses, and decision support for the business

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a strong commercial interest and thrive in the intersection between sales, customer experience, analysis, and digital development.

You are structured, curious, and have an easy time turning data and insights into concrete improvements. You enjoy working both operationally and analytically, and have a good sense of how the assortment, content, and campaigns need to be presented to create an attractive and clear customer journey.

To succeed in the role, we believe you are communicative, responsible, and accustomed to collaborating with several different functions. You have an eye for detail, but also understand the big picture – from the customer's first click to completed purchase and delivery.

We would appreciate if you have experience from e-commerce, online merchandising, digital sales, category management, or a similar role. Experience with Shopify, analytics tools, campaign planning, or retail is a plus.

What we offer

At Blomsterlandet, you become part of a strong brand with a great commitment to plants, customers, and inspiring shopping experiences.

You will have an important role in our continued digital development and the opportunity to influence how our customers meet Blomsterlandet online. Here you become part of a business where season, assortment, customer behavior, and sales meet – and where your work makes a clear difference every day.
