Are you an HR professional who enjoys working closely with operations and their leaders? Are you also looking for a developmental, fun, and challenging job within the school world – then this is the job for you! We at the HR unit are now looking for two new colleagues to join our teams.

At the Primary School Administration, we have one of the world's most important missions; here we work with engagement to ensure all students reach their goals in school. At the HR department, we contribute by supporting the administration's managers in being leaders and good employers.

The HR department includes HR as well as the units for competence supply, staffing, and recruitment.

Responsibilities

At the unit, we are approximately 30 employees who work closely with operations both operationally and strategically with a broad HR perspective. We have specialized competence within HR such as work environment, labor law, rehabilitation, wage formation, and administrative processes.

As an HR Specialist with us, your role will primarily involve supporting managers on operational HR issues. Your assignment includes, among other things, contributing the HR perspective in development work, labor law issues, negotiations, wage setting, work environment issues, rehabilitation, support in trade union cooperation, and personnel follow-up. For those who find it rewarding to hold workshops and training, there are also great opportunities for this, as you will, among other things, be involved in management meetings as an HR representative, as well as in other forums within the administration.

Our driving force is to deliver qualified support on HR issues to the administration's managers with the students' best interests in focus. We work both independently and in very close collaboration in our teams and at the unit as a whole. We work activity-based at our office at Gamlestads Torg and sometimes at our regional meeting centers or out at our schools.

Qualifications

For this position, it is a requirement that you have a three-year bachelor's degree in the personnel field, or another bachelor's degree relevant to the position. Since it is a challenging assignment, it is also a requirement that you have experience of working in a supporting role to managers on broad, qualified HR issues within the unit's mandate. We also appreciate analytical competence as we work with data-driven analysis.

It is a merit if you have worked within a politically governed organization.

We need someone who has excellent collaboration skills and can create good and trusting relationships. You are comfortable in social contact situations, both informal and formal, and you are clear in your professional role. You can balance different demands and act professionally in situations where others may question. By being flexible, you also find it easy to adapt yourself and your way of working based on changed conditions and new information.

You must be confident in taking on the employer role and be able to convey uncomfortable messages when necessary and stand by made decisions. For you, it is important to take responsibility for your and the joint tasks with the students and the operation's best interests in focus, and you are keen to complete the work you have started in the right way. You understand the common mission, act based on it, and contribute to the whole.
