Our client is seeking a driven Junior Controller/Business Controller to strengthen their team. You will play a key role in ensuring financial precision and contributing to strategic insights in a dynamic environment where innovation is at the forefront.
About the Role
As a Junior Controller/Business Controller, you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting for engineering-related projects. You will lead the coordination of monthly reporting, forecasts, and KPI follow-ups, while supporting team members and working closely with engineering managers.
This is a temporary assignment until July 1st. You will be employed as a consultant by Academic Work and then work on-site at our client's location in Vårgårda.

Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for financial reporting, analysis, and follow-up within engineering-related projects.
- Drive financial planning and analysis for engineering-related projects and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Lead the coordination of monthly reporting, forecasts, and KPI follow-ups.
- Support and guide team members in their daily work and ensure alignment with technical and business goals.
- Work closely with engineering managers and other stakeholders within the organization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and tools.
Requirements
- Have solid experience as a Business Controller or in a similar financial role.
- Hold a relevant degree in economics or business administration.
- Possess strong analytical skills and a good understanding of financial principles.
- Have experience in team coordination and cross-functional collaboration.
- Have fluent knowledge of Swedish and English.
- Have good proficiency in Excel.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience with BI or visualization tools.
- Experience from a technology-driven company, especially close to engineering or product development teams.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
