About the Role

We are currently seeking a Cost Controller for an exciting assignment with our partner in Gothenburg. In this role, you will act as a close financial partner to the sales organization, ensuring that customer proposals, pricing, and business decisions are based on clear analyses and carefully developed product cost calculations.

You will support the sales team by providing a transparent view of costs and profitability, while also contributing to customer negotiations and the evaluation of new business opportunities. The role involves close collaboration with both sales leadership and senior management, offering significant opportunities to influence the company's commercial decisions!

In summary, the role entails:

• Serving as the sales team's primary financial contact, providing clear insights into costs and business advice.
• Supporting Account Managers in customer meetings with analyses of costs and margins.
• Developing various pricing alternatives and financial simulations to support negotiations.
• Managing product cost structures and margin analysis for selected product lines, as well as identifying potential cost risks.
• Providing recommendations on new business opportunities based on economic sustainability and long-term profitability.
• Collaborating with procurement and engineering to evaluate supplier offers and understand how design changes impact costs.
• Contributing to the improvement of costing tools and workflows within commercial finance.

We are looking for you who

• Have 5–10 years of experience in commercial controlling, product costing, or financial analysis, preferably within the automotive industry or other complex manufacturing sectors.
• Possess strong analytical skills and experience in financial modeling and advanced Excel; knowledge of BI tools is a merit.
• Have a good understanding of manufacturing cost structures and industrial production processes.
• Can transform complex financial information into clear and actionable insights for business teams and management.
• Experience with TcPCM (Teamcenter Product Cost Management) or similar cost databases is a merit.

About the Employment

The position is a consulting assignment via OIO with an initial duration of 6 months, with good possibilities for extension and transition to permanent employment with our partner.
