About the job

As a Development Leader in data protection and information security, you will be part of one of the largest administrations in the City of Gothenburg.

Here, you will use your expertise to strengthen legal security, trust, and development in an organization with significant social responsibility.

Your main task will be to work with colleagues and managers to ensure that the organization maintains a legally secure and efficient information management.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Work cross-functionally with different departments to ensure legally secure information management.
• Develop and implement training programs to raise awareness of information security within the organization.
• Take a leading role in the work to implement and maintain compliance with the Cybersecurity Act and the Data Protection Regulation.
• Work with investigation and administrative handling of incidents, risk analysis, and information classification as well as follow-up and documentation.
• Conduct risk analysis and impact assessments in accordance with GDPR, as well as guidelines, laws, and regulations related to information security.
• Assist the organization in identifying and analyzing potential risks and vulnerabilities, and suggest improvements.
• Provide advice and support within the organization.
• Assist with other issues related to information management and other security and preparedness-related matters as needed.

About you

As a Development Leader, you will play a central role in creating conditions that make it easy to do the right thing and contribute to the development of the organization. The work is done in close collaboration with the administration's development leaders in data protection and information security, archivists, security managers, and other relevant functions within the security unit as well as in the rest of the organization.

We see that you who are applying have:

• A university degree or equivalent education that the employer deems relevant for the position.
• Several years of experience working with data protection and/or information security at an overarching organizational level, or similar work that the employer deems relevant. Preferably within municipal or other public operations.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Regulation and the Cybersecurity Act and how to implement this in public operations.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with similar issues in a politically governed organization.
• Experience working with issues within municipal care and social services.
