Administrator with a Logistics Focus for P 4

Skaraborg Regiment P 4 is seeking an administrator with a logistics focus. The position will be managed by the company at the Training Unit, which is the unit at P 4 that conducts basic training for soldiers and carries out unit training and exercises.

Main Responsibilities

Examples of tasks:

• Inventory, administer, and follow up on the company's material
• Place orders in support systems
• Follow up on orders and maintenance of the company's vehicles
• Administer tasks related to fire protection, BVKF, and chemical management
• Continuous contact with other units at the regiment
• Support the company management with other administrative tasks

As an administrator with a logistics focus at the Training Unit, you will work closely with the company's quartermaster and technical manager, which will require you to have an understanding of the company's operations and material. You need to be prepared to support work between different companies and sometimes even units. In addition to the administrative role, you will be expected to perform practical tasks such as picking up and delivering goods and materials and inventorying the company's various storages, etc. This means that work will take place both indoors and outdoors, and heavy lifting may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Driving license B (manual)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Meritorious

• Previous relevant experience as an administrator
• Military service and/or other types of service/employment within the Armed Forces (preferably at a company)
• Driving license in FM
• Experience with the PRIO and LIFT systems

Personal Qualities

It is important that you are flexible and can handle receiving several different types of tasks simultaneously. You have a sense for creating structure that leads to order and tidiness. You possess social skills that enable you to communicate both internally within the unit and externally outside the unit. You are attentive and driven by collaboration and service orientation, both practically and administratively, to achieve common goals. You also enjoy working independently within your own areas of responsibility. Since physical training is conducted during working hours, you have a positive view of training. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Skaraborg Regiment, P 4 operates from Älvdalen in the north to Remmene in the south. The leadership is located in Skövde, where most of the conscript training takes place. The regiment's task is to recruit and train conscripts and personnel for two armored battalions, a heavy transport company, and a brigade reconnaissance company. P 4 is also responsible for a brigade staff that, in times of crisis and war, will lead large parts of the army's units.
