Job Responsibilities

As an administrator, you will be offered a varied and developing job at a government authority. You will be placed in the administrative office but will have certain ongoing tasks in the registration and archives unit. The administrative office currently consists of six employees working with finance, HR administration, record-keeping, lay judges, and library.

In your role, you will provide support and service to the court's managers and employees. The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues both in the administrative office and in the registration and archives unit. The position involves many internal and external contacts, including in connection with the release of public documents.

Examples of job responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR administrator with administrative tasks.
  • Administrative work regarding the court's lay judges, such as scheduling, bookings, and registration and control of service reports.
  • Ongoing record-keeping and registration of incoming and outgoing administrative documents as well as archiving these.
  • Implementation of the court's information management plan and ongoing disposal according to the National Archives' regulations.
  • Participation in the court's digitization processes.
  • Support to the registration and archives unit in the work with the release of public documents as well as organizing and cataloging documents.
  • Other administrative tasks may be included. Since we are a small office, we help each other during absences and work peaks, which means you will gradually learn more tasks in the office.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys an administrative and supportive role and who has a post-secondary education equivalent to at least a bachelor's degree. It may be advantageous if your education includes archival science, as well as if you have experience with record-keeping in W3D3 or previous experience working or interning within the Swedish Courts. To succeed in the role, you need to be quick to learn new tasks and be able to analyze and solve problems in a structured way. The work involves close collaboration with colleagues across the entire administrative function, which requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and an unpretentious attitude as well as a strong interest in various types of administrative processes. You also need to have a well-developed sense of service, be responsible, and have a commitment to development issues. The role requires that you have integrity and can act as an employer representative. For employment, you must meet high standards of judgment, security awareness, and suitability, as well as support democratic values and the state value base that governs the operations of the Swedish Courts.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. The court strives for diversity among staff in terms of age, gender, and ethnic background.

Your application should consist of:

  • CV
  • Cover letter
  • Transcript from post-secondary studies

A comprehensive assessment of the application documents will be made during the selection process.
