About our open position

The position includes varied tasks and several areas of responsibility. You will support decision-makers, both at the hospital leadership level and within the operations. You will guide operational managers and other leaders through a proactive and coaching approach, and you will be part of their management group. Furthermore, you will work with budgeting, follow-up, and analysis, such as reporting on the operations' results. Together with your colleagues in the unit, you will work on proposing and implementing changes in the processes we operate within.

Consequently, you will work on regional and hospital-wide assignments as well as directly with individual operations at SÄS.

We will utilize your competence by adapting the position according to your background, experience, and interests.

About us

The finance unit employs 10 controllers with shared and distinct areas of responsibility. For us, it is important to have a good team spirit; we work closely together in the group and support each other in our daily work. We work closely with the operations and also collaborate with other functions at SÄS on various issues, projects, and assignments.

The finance area in VGR has initiated a major change project in which everyone in the unit will be involved. We network with other hospitals within VGR where part of the development work takes place.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a university degree with an economic focus and a few years of experience in financial work, or alternatively, extensive work experience in a similar role that the employer deems equivalent.

As a person, you are analytical, proactive, and have a driving approach, communicating in a pedagogical manner. You are driven by change and development, both for yourself and others. We work both in teams and independently, which makes it important that you have good social competence and collaboration skills, but are also capable of making your own priorities. You need to be able to switch between detailed issues while maintaining a holistic perspective. You want to help develop healthcare and, through your competence, actively support and challenge the organization to ensure development occurs. The role requires experience in working with both operational and strategic issues. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
