What does the role offer?

As an Accountant at Fristads, you will hold a central role responsible for accounting in several international companies. You will work independently through the entire accounting process and play a key role in ensuring quality and correct reporting to the group. At the same time, you will become part of a competent team with close collaboration and many contact points, both internally and externally.

In this role, you will work with, among other things:

• Managing the entire accounting process – from ongoing bookkeeping to year-end closing, tax returns, and reporting
• Working with accounting for international companies
• Ensuring correct VAT and tax handling in an international context
• Preparing and quality-assuring reporting to the group
• Working in the ERP system M3 with standardized processes
• Collaborating with internal functions and external parties, including authorities
• Contributing to development, project work, and implementation.

You will become part of a Finance Center team of 9 people and a larger finance function of approximately 15 colleagues, including controlling. We report to Hultafors Group, and your immediate manager will be the Finance Center Manager. The office is located in Viared, Borås.

Who are you?

You feel confident in the entire accounting process and have independently worked with ongoing bookkeeping, year-end closing, reporting, and tax returns for a couple of years. You have good system skills from finance-related systems and work proficiently in Excel. Since the role has an international context, you need to be able to communicate professionally in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. It is an asset if you have experience with international accounting, particularly VAT and tax handling in several countries, as well as experience with group accounting.

As a person, you are a secure and responsible accountant. You enjoy working independently and taking ownership of your areas of responsibility, while also appreciating collaboration with colleagues and other contacts.
