We are seeking an accountant with strong payroll expertise for a recruitment to an IT company in Gothenburg.

In this role, you will be responsible for payroll management and ongoing financial administration in close collaboration with the finance department. You will work independently on both operational tasks and contribute to monthly closing, year-end closing, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will work broadly with ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations, and closing processes. You will manage accounts payable and invoicing, as well as take responsibility for VAT, tax declarations, and ongoing reporting.

You will ensure the quality of the entire payroll process. Furthermore, you will be responsible for monthly reporting, analysis, and follow-up, as well as actively contributing to the budgeting process.

Who are you?

You are a structured and meticulous accountant with documented experience in payroll administration. You thrive in a role combining operational and strategic work where you can contribute to improvement initiatives.

We also look for you to have:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in payroll and accounting.
• Extensive experience with various accounting systems and payroll software.
• The ability to work meticulously, responsibly, and independently.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

About the Position

• Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.

• Employment type: Full-time.

• Location: Gothenburg, work is performed on-site at the office.
