About the job

As a Culture Coordinator – Exhibitions and Interior Design, you will lead the work to develop exhibitions and public environments within the Culture Corridor (Kulturstråket). You are responsible for both exhibition productions and coordinating moving and interior design processes related to our new premises on Kungsgatan in Uddevalla. The role requires a combination of creative ability, good structure, and experience in leading co-creative processes with many stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Project Management – Exhibition Production

• Lead the planning and execution of exhibitions.
• Co-creative processes with target groups including children and the association sector.
• Collaborate with external and internal operations.
• Develop project plans, budget proposals, and schedules.
• Ensure that exhibition content is accessible, tailored to the target group, and in line with the organization's mission.

Coordination of Moving and Interior Design at the Culture Corridor

• Coordinate moving in connection with renovation and new premises.
• Plan and coordinate interior design, furnishing, and spatial solutions that support the organization's needs.
• Work closely with external and internal functions.
• Contribute to creating functional, welcoming, and aesthetically consistent environments.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with academic education in cultural production, project management, museum and exhibition studies, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• It is an asset if you have experience in seeking external funding and previous work experience with art exhibitions and art programming.
• Documented experience of driving projects within exhibition production or similar creative processes.
• Experience in coordinating complex processes with many stakeholders, as well as experience with co-creative projects with children as the target group.

It is an asset if you have experience in interior planning, spatial design, or working with public environments. We also appreciate experience in communication work, e.g., creating texts, information material, simple graphic work, or communication initiatives in projects.
