The primary school in Härryda Municipality is seeking a Planning Manager who wants to contribute to the continued development of our schools. As a Planning Manager, you will become an important part of a future-oriented organization where the pace of development is high and the needs picture changes rapidly. You will work in close collaboration with principals, operational support, and management, contributing to a holistic view, structure, and good organizational prerequisites for our schools.

Your Assignment

As a Planning Manager, you play a central role in creating the prerequisites for a well-functioning and high-quality school organization. You are responsible for planning the school year, including the preparation of school year dates and other overarching structures that support an efficient and equitable operation.

The assignment involves both strategic and operational work. You will contribute to the development of common routines, processes, and working methods, and help ensure long-term, sustainable, and thoughtful planning throughout the primary school. The role also involves coordinating and supporting the implementation of decisions and guidelines in the operations, working based on current research, the profession's needs, and our systematic quality work.

Requirements for the Position

You have experience working with school issues within the public sector and feel secure working in a politically governed organization. You express yourself very well in both speech and writing and feel comfortable communicating with different target groups.

You work in a structured and analytical manner and are used to handling complex planning processes. You thrive in a collaborative role where you create order and stability, while contributing a clear and forward-looking perspective.

We are looking for someone with a completed university degree and extensive experience working within schools and teaching. You are well-versed in the Education Act.

It is an advantage if you:

• have experience leading and driving processes
• have experience of collaboration with trade unions

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Criminal Register must be presented.
