You will become an important part of the administration's development work, contributing to creating clarity, quality, and efficiency in the municipality's projects. You will have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally, serving as a unifying force in early stages, during execution, and during follow-up.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.

The role includes, among other things:

As a Project Coordinator

  • Coordinate and administer project planning, meetings, documentation, and communication.

  • Prepare and quality-assure materials for decisions in the board and management.
  • Contribute to developing templates, routines, and processes for project management.
  • Facilitate knowledge exchange and learning between projects.

As a Project Manager

  • Lead and drive your own investment projects from feasibility study to execution and closure.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and create good conditions for projects to achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with ordering administrations to clarify needs, scope, and prerequisites.
  • Prepare project plans, budgets, risk analyses, and follow-up materials.
  • Contribute to developing working methods and strengthening the municipality's project maturity.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education relevant to the position, for example in project management, procurement, or similar – or equivalent experience deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience in project administration, project management, or similar roles where structure, coordination, and follow-up are central. Experience from community infrastructure, technology, or the public sector is an asset.

We would like you to:

  • Have good administrative skills and enjoy creating order and structure.
  • Be analytical, meticulous, and accustomed to working with monitoring of time, costs, and activities.
  • Have an understanding of project management and preferably experience working in a project format.
  • Have good communication skills and be able to convey complex information in a clear and pedagogical manner.
  • Be confident in using digital tools, preferably project management systems or similar.
  • Have an interest in developing working methods and contributing to improvements.
  • Enjoy a role where you both lead your own projects and support others.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability, ability to collaborate, and engagement.

We offer

  • A strategically important assignment where you have the opportunity to influence and make a difference in people's daily lives.
