Kantar-Sifo: Social Democrats increase, Center and SD lose ground
The latest opinion poll from Kantar-Sifo shows continued strong support for the Social Democrats, now reaching 34.3 percent. At the same time, both the Center and the Sweden Democrats are losing ground compared to the previous poll. The survey provides an up-to-date picture of the political landscape ahead of spring 2026.

Trends and history
The Social Democrats have increased by 0.5 percentage points compared to the previous Kantar-Sifo survey and are also above 34 percent in several other institutes over the past month. The Moderates show an increase of 0.7 percentage points, in line with or slightly higher than other recent polls.
The Sweden Democrats have lost 1.2 percentage points since the last Kantar-Sifo, a decline also observed in other institutes, where SD now polls between 20 and 22 percent. The Center has decreased by 0.9 percentage points to 4.6 percent, still above the threshold but with a clear downward trend. The Christian Democrats have increased significantly (+1.3 p.p.) reaching 5.6 percent, the highest level in a long time in Kantar-Sifo's surveys.
The Liberals remain below the threshold at 2.0 percent despite a slight increase. The Green Party has declined slightly but remains above the threshold.
