Part-time Finance, Quality, and Project Coordinator at Picea kulturarv
Picea kulturarv ekonomisk förenVästra Götalands län, Göteborg
Previous experience is desired
Picea kulturarv is looking for a part-time finance, quality, and project coordinator
We are growing, and so is our administration. Therefore, we are looking for a person who can work part-time with financial administration combined with being a quality and project coordinator starting in the spring of 2026.
Picea kulturarv is a smaller, cooperative company operating in the fields of archaeology and cultural heritage. We have three pillars to stand on:
- Archaeology
- Cultural Heritage
- Cultural Heritage Education
The operations are entirely project-funded. We have an office in Gothenburg but work on assignments all over the country. The cooperative is profit-driven but does not distribute profits. The profits are reinvested in the operations to fulfill the goals in our statutes: to contribute to good societal development with the public good in mind through the professional work of our members.
The cooperative is owned and governed by its members, and the staff is our most important resource. The company is a member of SUBo and Sobona and has a collective agreement. Currently, eight people work in the organization. As we grow, we now need to strengthen our team with someone who can handle ongoing financial administration, coordinate quality work, and our projects.
Responsibilities & Scope
As an administrator at Picea kulturarv, you will manage internal administration and ensure that documents such as customer and supplier invoices are processed correctly, secure time and expense reports, compile invoice documentation, report service pensions, statistics to Sobona, Fora, etc., daily mail handling, purchasing, incoming & outgoing payments, and contribute to good project reporting, write meeting minutes, and maintain general order and tidiness. Accounting and payroll preparation are handled by an external accounting firm, but receipts must be entered into the accounting in a timely manner, time reports must be reviewed, allowances and mileage reimbursements must be checked, and so on. In addition, we need help updating the quality system, writing procedures, and coordinating projects. Depending on the applicant's experience and availability, additional tasks may be included. This could involve updating the website, maintaining our project planning, but could also include cleaning, managing the vehicle fleet, and simpler janitorial tasks.
Many of the above tasks are currently handled by the CEO, while others are spread across the staff. These tasks should be delegated so they can focus on our assignments and scientific work. We believe the position is 50%. The location is our office in Brunnsbo on Hisingen.
The candidate we are looking for
…should be an unpretentious, social person who enjoys collaborating and working in a team but can also handle independent work. Your future colleagues are at the office 1-2 days/week, so it is important to be self-sufficient and have an understanding of the tasks. Since the company is a smaller cooperative, collaboration, personal leadership, order, and tidiness are some important qualities we value. We work with the financial system Fortnox, and experience with this is an advantage.
The working language is Swedish, and a B driver's license is a requirement.
We are open to a wide range of applicants, but we want to emphasize that this is not a full-time position (and is not intended to be combined with working as an archaeologist). Perhaps you are studying but realize that you can work part-time instead of relying on student loans. Maybe you want to combine a part-time job with your own business. Or you may have a long professional life behind you but want to continue working even after retirement.
Application and Selection
The application should consist of a cover letter and CV, describing your skills, experiences, and what you can contribute to the cooperative. The application should also include at least two references.
Applications should be sent to: [email protected]
The deadline for applications is February 28. Selection and invitations for interviews will take place thereafter.
We welcome questions about the position and tasks via phone or email.
