We are looking for someone who wants to work with supervision of the sale and serving of alcohol, tobacco, tobacco-free nicotine products, e-cigarettes, and certain over-the-counter medications.

We conduct supervision in 10 municipalities: Götene, Grästorp, Gullspång, Herrljunga, Lidköping, Skara, Tidaholm, Töreboda, Vara, and Vårgårda.

About the organization

We have recently reorganized within the Community Sector, creating a joint area for Environment and Building to utilize resources and competencies more effectively over time. We strive for an organization that is communicative, transparent, and service-oriented with a clear affiliation within the sector, ensuring the organization's ability for digital initiatives and operational development.

The new area consists of six teams led daily by a team leader. The team leaders, together with the area manager, form the area's management group. You would belong to the TIS - Permit Unit in Collaboration team.

Job responsibilities:

You will conduct supervision visits to stores and serving establishments, check that laws and regulations are followed, document and report your observations, and inform and build good relationships with business owners.

Working hours:

Supervision occurs on weekdays, evenings, and weekends, giving you the flexibility to combine work with studies or other commitments.

Who are you

To succeed in this role, you are flexible, social, and empathetic. You have good communication skills, are service-oriented, responsible, and contribute to a good working atmosphere. You find it easy to build trust and meet people in a professional manner.

You have a driver's license as supervision takes place in different municipalities. Access to a car via the municipality's car pool.

Meritorious:

You have knowledge of alcohol and tobacco legislation, computer skills, and the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing, as well as experience in public authority work.
