Borås District Court is now seeking one or more court administrators. Are you interested in handling cases and matters? Do you have a pronounced sense of service and a flexible approach? Do you also value actively contributing to the development of the organization? Then this job is for you!
Job Responsibilities
As a court administrator, you will work with preparing and handling various types of cases and matters. Your tasks will include receiving and registering incoming documents, summoning relevant parties to hearings, drafting proposals for judgments and decisions, and dispatching them. The work also includes financial administration such as reviewing before payments, invoice management, administration concerning our lay judges, travel bookings, as well as receiving visitors and answering questions in our reception.
The tasks are very varied and independent, and you will perform them under your own responsibility. In your work, you will have daily internal and external contacts, such as with authorities, lay judges, parties, and representatives, as well as the media and the public.
We place great importance on the fact that the work as a court administrator can be flexibly combined with family and living situations, for example, by providing opportunities to work remotely to some extent.
We are looking for someone who
We are looking for someone who has at least a high school education. Additional education in a relevant field for the position, such as business administration, paralegal, or public administration, may be considered an advantage. Previous experience in similar work at a court, reception work, financial work, and knowledge of the court's case management system may be advantageous.
You are responsible and have a strong commitment to your work, you value actively contributing to the development of the organization, and you have a solution-focused approach. Furthermore, you are meticulous and flexible, and you have a pronounced sense of service and quality even during more stressful periods. You are an experienced computer user and have a very good ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written communication.

Borås District Court
We now conduct our operations in a completely new courthouse. At the beginning of summer 2025, we moved into entirely new, purpose-built premises that are adapted to our operations.
The district court is an open and modern workplace with skilled and dedicated employees. The court continuously works on the quality of its operations with the aim that it should be characterized by high professional quality, efficiency, good treatment, and good service. All employees are engaged in quality work. The court has a digitized working method in all cases and matters.
The court has about fifty employees; judges, clerks, preparing lawyers, court administrators, and court officers. The court handles criminal cases, civil cases, court matters, and bankruptcies.
