Our client is a successful group based in Kalmar, operating in a dynamic and growing industry. The assignment is approximately a 6-month consulting position.

Responsibilities and Duties

Your main responsibilities include:

• Responsible for monthly reporting, both legal and operational.
• Consolidate the group's income statement and balance sheet.
• Lead the monthly and annual closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Drive accounting issues within the group and ensure that all processes comply with regulations and standards.
• Lead and distribute work within the accounting department consisting of 8 employees.
• Act as the system owner for the financial system and be responsible for its development and optimization.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent experience (10-15 years of relevant work experience).
• Has previous experience as an auditor, in group accounting, or in a similar role.
• Has worked with team leadership and enjoys being in a leading position.
• Has good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in a group, improving processes, and driving system development or system changes.
