Unit's Mission

In Kalmar County, we work together across our 12 municipalities to meet job seekers and employers either in person or remotely. Our unit, which covers the entire Kalmar County, employs about 120 staff members, located in Kalmar, Oskarshamn, and Västervik.

Job Description

As an employment officer and civil servant, you will work in a changing environment where you see opportunities in new conditions and actively contribute to the development of the organization. Your tasks will involve working securely and accurately within the framework of the regulations governing the operations. Our Offer

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period. The placement location is Oskarshamn.

Basic Requirements for the Position

  • University/college education of at least 180 credits/120 points, alternatively you are/have been employed as an Employment Officer at the Swedish Public Employment Service for at least 6 months and are assessed to have good conditions to meet the current requirements for employment officers.
  • At least two years of work experience, totaling at least 50 percent work over two years, in jobs where digital systems and good documentation have been central.
  • Very good knowledge of communicating in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good reading comprehension.
  • B driver's license.

Other Merits for the Position

  • Experience in building relationships with employers.
  • Knowledge of the local labor market, including skills and recruitment needs.
  • Experience and knowledge of collaboration with other actors, such as authorities, municipalities, healthcare providers, and our contracted service providers.
  • Experience and knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities/health issues.
  • Experience in public authority exercise.
