Unit's Mission

In the Kalmar region, we work together across our 12 municipalities to meet job seekers and employers either in person or remotely. Our unit, which covers the entire Kalmar region, has about 120 employees located in Kalmar, Oskarshamn, and Västervik.

Job Description

As a job coach and civil servant, you will work in a changing environment where you see opportunities in new conditions and actively contribute to the development of the organization. With many points of contact, you thrive in teamwork, willingly share your knowledge, and provide excellent service. Your tasks will involve working accurately and carefully within the framework of the regulations that govern the operations. You have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and handle both positive and negative news in a respectful manner.

Our Offer

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period. The place of employment is Kalmar.

Basic Requirements for the Position

University/college education of at least 180 credits/120 ECTS, alternatively you are/have been employed as a job coach at the Swedish Public Employment Service for at least 6 months and are assessed to have good prospects of meeting today's requirements for job coaches
At least two years of work experience, collectively working at least 50 percent over a total of two years, in jobs where digital systems and good documentation have been central
Very good knowledge of communicating in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good reading comprehension
Driving license B

Other Qualifications for the Position

Experience in building relationships with employers
Knowledge of the local labor market, including skills and recruitment needs
Experience and knowledge of collaboration with other actors, such as authorities, municipalities, healthcare providers, and our contracted service providers
Experience and knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities/health issues
Experience in public authority operations
