Björkbacken is a family-owned business consisting of a cabin village, camping, hostel, hotel, and restaurant. It is a modern facility with a homely character, run by a family that places great importance on service, personal interaction, and a positive experience.

The hotel has 42 rooms in various categories, 46 cabins, 6 hostel rooms, and over 150 camping sites. During the summer, the pressure on the facility is high, and at most, around 95 employees work in the different areas.

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of service who enjoys spreading joy among both guests and other employees. To fit in our reception, you need to be meticulous, responsible, and able to handle stress. You are service-oriented and always provide our guests with a correct and positive reception. It is important that you have the ability to offer a smile, even in stressful situations. You also need to have experience with computers and cash handling. Language skills and knowledge of the local area are advantageous.

As a receptionist, you will work with guest reception, check-in and check-out, booking hotels, cabins, hostels, and camping sites, providing information services to our guests, and cash handling. You will also work in our lobby bar. In all our positions, it is included that during busy times, you may need to step in where needed, and you may therefore also receive tasks in other areas. The work applies to our peak season from mid-June to mid-August. There may also be opportunities to work in the pre- and post-season, from May to a bit into October.

We have varied working hours both during the day, evenings, and weekends. Salary and conditions according to collective agreements. Positions may be filled before the application period ends.
