We are looking for a measurement technician for Region East. The region is part of our Construction business area, and the position is based in Kalmar County. This position is located in Kalmar but will work on projects in the areas around Västervik and Oskarshamn. We are looking for someone who is ready to become part of our team, contributing with your expertise and commitment.

About the position
As a measurement technician with us, you will work with production measurement, which means you are always one step ahead of daily production, and your main tasks will consist of:

• Responsible for field measurements in our projects, i.e., setting out and measuring.
• Handling Total Station + GNNS equipment.
• Reading and managing drawings within construction.
• Data management of setting out/measurement documentation.
• 3D models + auxiliary models for machine control.
• Process and deliver measurement documentation for as-built drawings.
• Support the management in quantity-regulated projects.

Requirements
We are looking for someone with experience as a measurement technician in construction and preferably have a relevant educational background. Since the position involves good communication skills, we require that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

A driving license (B) is required.

Meritorious

• Experience from projects in earthworks, roads, railways, and/or industrial projects
• Experience working with the Swedish Transport Administration.

We are active in projects throughout Kalmar County but may work on projects outside our own geography together with other Peab units. This means that you, as an employee with us, must be mobile during the workweek.
