JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a project-employed meter technician for the water and sewage department.

Borgholm Energi is responsible for municipal water and sewage in Borgholm municipality, and a large part of the work involves managing and maintaining as well as planning and building for the future.

The position mainly consists of setting up and replacing water meters in villas, townhouses, meter wells, multi-family houses, and commercial properties including agricultural properties, as well as setting up infrastructure for data collection. The job responsibilities also include commissioning the infrastructure for the company's data collection and being involved in establishing and administering routines regarding water meters.

As a meter technician in the water and sewage department, you will be involved in the work group's tasks, such as operation and maintenance of the water and sewage pipeline network, project planning, and strategic planning. Together with other staff at Borgholm Energi, you will investigate, plan, and streamline service for both internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with either relevant technical education, practical experience in plumbing, water and sewage, or other equivalent education or experience. Practical experience and knowledge are required.

If you are a trained plumbing technician or have prior experience in installations and maintenance of building technical water and/or heating systems, it is an advantage. Experience with legal requirements according to LAV, data processing, documentation, and reporting to authorities is also advantageous.

The role requires accuracy, flexibility, and independence. You are clear in your communication both verbally and in writing, and you have good knowledge of Swedish. You have excellent collaboration skills, work in a structured manner, and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You will be part of a flexible organization, which means we place importance on personal qualities.

A driver's license (B) is required. You must speak and write fluent Swedish.

The employer may apply a probationary period of 6 months.
