About the Role

For many years, AFRY has successfully supported energy producers and distributors. The energy market is currently experiencing its largest growth since Sweden was electrified, and the need for investments in distribution and transmission networks is enormous in the coming years. At AFRY Distribution, we are currently about 50 consultants involved in expanding and developing the future electricity grid, and we need more!

Our assignments may include everything from pre-studies, planning, and design to completed facility modifications. Projects can be carried out both under AFRY's management and as hired resources at the customer's site. We undertake projects of various sizes ranging from maintenance, reconstruction, new connections, or reinvestments. In other words, we have a broad expertise that enables us to help both our customers and each other develop!

At AFRY, you will have the opportunity to develop in the role of Electrical Power Consultant and work closely with wonderful and competent colleagues, collaborating closely with the industry's key customers. You will have the opportunity to work on design, preparation, and construction, as well as on electrical quality investigations, connection of wind and solar parks, project and construction management, and assignment management. If you are interested in leadership, we would like you to take on the role of mentor for junior colleagues.

To succeed in the role:

• You have a relevant technical education at high school or university level with a focus on electrical power or equivalent work experience.
• You have at least 3 years of competence and experience in preparation, design, project management of the electricity grid - or competence and experience as a connection engineer, documentation engineer, network planner, construction manager, or assignment manager.
• You have experience in a consulting role.
• You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English as both languages are frequently used both within AFRY and with our customers.
