The Child and Education Administration in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to university, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and community orientation for newcomers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher, you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work at your workplace. You are well acquainted with the curriculum for compulsory school and are used to working with applicable goals and quality standards within the compulsory school system. You are a good role model and follow the norms and values set out in the curriculum, contributing to the implementation and fulfillment of the compulsory school's mission with high quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel secure in the school's activities.

In this position, you will work closely with an assistant and be responsible for teaching a student or students with autism who are in preschool class. You will belong to a team with other preschool teachers at Astrid Lindgren School, but you will operate and conduct teaching in your own classroom.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach grades F-6
• has experience working with children with autism

At the same time, we value innovative thinking in the organization and would like you to be someone who brings ideas and new thoughts that you also implement in practice to contribute to the development of both daily work and the organization as a whole.
