If a student needs more support than what the home school can offer, there are municipal special education groups with specific expertise. The special education groups are located in primary schools in the municipality. This position is placed at Lindsdal Schools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in the municipal special education group (KSU), you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the teaching. The assignment includes close contact with guardians and other partners to meet individual needs. In your work, you have access to a work team and student health at the school. Continuous guidance from central student health is included as support in the assignment. At the start, all staff receive basic training, and thereafter continuous professional development tailored to the needs of the groups is provided. Continuous collaboration between the municipal special education groups occurs to constantly develop the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified teacher with subject competence in mathematics/natural sciences for grades 4-9. As a person, you are calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations. You take responsibility for tasks and can organize and prioritize them. You easily adapt to changing circumstances. You can and want to work together with others and see teamwork as a given. You are calm, attentive, and observant in your interactions and have the ability to recognize and value differences. You can create participation and consensus around the operation. As a colleague, you bring enthusiasm, energy, and joy to the work. You have the ability to see the operation and the student from a holistic perspective. Before taking up the position, a criminal record extract must be submitted.
