JOB DESCRIPTION

Communication is the lifeblood, the heart, and the brain. That’s been known for a long time.

We are now looking for you who can master the craft of communication. You who go to work knowing that despite your education and solid knowledge, you will face new questions, new responsibilities, and exciting challenges every day.

You understand channel strategy, can manage CMS systems (Sitevision), are familiar with InDesign and perhaps Illustrator, write fluently tailored material for target groups, are reliable in urgent situations or crises, seek out good news, and are a rock for the organization in all sorts of communication support - yes, you get what we are looking for.

Working with community communication is a challenge and a privilege; we work with target groups that know what they want and at the same time need things they don’t know we can help with. That’s where you come in.

We have fantastic employees in the organization, and great and small things happen, miracles and small shifts every day in our operations that you need to tell about. Be a part of what’s happening and be able to shape stories, news, and take good pictures and videos.

You must have big ears, quick fingers, swift legs, and a great sense of humor. A good mood and a huge dose of humor will make you fit perfectly into our communications group, which currently consists of three people. We work centrally and out in the departments, and you will be dedicated as a departmental communicator.

The position is part-time 50%

QUALIFICATIONS

To be the supportive and driven communicator we need, you should

• be an educated communicator or journalist
• have worked with community communication and know how a public organization operates
• understand the rules and regulations for public communication
• be confident and stylistically secure in Swedish (we invest a lot in digitalization and AI, but we do not use AI-generated texts in our communication)
• be self-sufficient and really good at listening and building relationships
• be able to make well-founded communication decisions and stand by them
• have a clear strategic mindset that you can translate into action - we need thoughtful action
• be familiar with M365, the Adobe suite, Sitevision, and other systems that a communicator uses (many!)
• be able to choose channels and adapt content to channel selection and target audience
• be confident and secure in crises - able to produce press materials and be a professional communication support when the press and the organization need it
• enjoy a relaxed atmosphere at work, we tell dad jokes and have a rather raw, but warm humor.
• be able to drive a car (yes, you need a driver’s license for that).
