Your role with us
We are looking for someone who sees the new role of developer as the most important and enjoyable job one can have. A central part of the mission is to contribute to the digitalization of the citizen center by implementing more AI solutions, automated processes, e-services, or other digital support that simplifies everyday life for citizens, businesses, and employees.
You will be responsible for developing and improving the citizen center's working methods, processes, and procedures to enhance our work for more efficient, uniform, and citizen-oriented flows throughout the municipality. The role will contribute to simplifying case management and enhancing service quality through analysis, development, and implementation of improvements where citizens and businesses are the focus. The tasks also include the role of system administrator for the operational systems used within the citizen center.
Who are we looking for?
You have a university degree in social sciences, public administration, or system science, or alternatively a degree from a vocational education of at least two years or other education that the employer considers suitable for the job area. We want you to have at least two years of experience in business development, process management, or quality work, preferably in the public sector. Experience in project management and improvement work in complex organizations with multiple stakeholders is required for the position.
Experience in analyzing operational data and translating results into concrete improvement proposals is a requirement, as is your ability to easily understand, use, and develop digital tools that support the operations. We want you to be good at searching for information digitally, and we prefer that you have previously worked in service operations with direct contact with citizens or customers. Since communication and documentation are part of the tasks, you must be able to communicate in both Swedish and English. We also want you to be skilled at holding presentations, lectures, and training sessions and can adapt these to the needs of the target audience.

you are good at creating and maintaining good relationships and can collaborate well with people in various contexts and functions. Of course, you find it easy to draw well-thought-out conclusions and translate analyzed data into effective solutions.

The Citizen Center is the gateway for citizens, businesses, and associations to Kristianstad Municipality and the extended arm of the administrations outward. The unit receives about 500 cases daily, which we respond to on behalf of the municipality's administrations. We handle most inquiries, and those we cannot answer are forwarded to the municipality's administrations. The Citizen Center consists of 19 employees in various roles, and we are located in Rådhus Skåne and the visitor center of Östra municipal house.
The Municipal Executive Office is responsible for strategically leading, coordinating, and developing the municipality's operations. Here you will find functions such as finance, HR, IT, communication, citizen center, business, tourism, and shared services. With our approximately 700 engaged employees, we operate under the leadership of the municipal board to create positive development for everyone in our municipality.
