RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a driven web communicator who wants to be the chief editor for the new website of the Regional Cancer Centers. You will work with content for the website, but also coordinate the editorial work carried out by a group of communicators located regionally across the country.

Together with the regional editors, you will ensure that visitors to cancercentrum.se quickly find information and can easily complete their tasks. You prioritize, edit, and restructure content to match the needs of target groups. The work is done in close collaboration with experts in SKR's cancer team and the management function RCC in collaboration. You will also work with web consulting and follow up on how the pages perform based on web statistics, as well as coordinate efforts from consultants in the web area.

The position is located in the communication department, which also has overall responsibility for SKR's web strategy and management of our CMS. Your daily work will be conducted in the cancer team in the department of health and care.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have post-secondary education in communication or digital channels and experience in strategic and operational work with web communication. You are a confident writer and can provide support and advice in communication with a focus on the web. You have experience in web publishing of text, images, and videos via a CMS. You have a genuine interest in social issues, and previous experience in communication about health and care issues is an advantage. Experience with SiteVision as a CMS is highly meritorious.

As a person, you are pedagogical, structured, and have the ability to take initiative and make decisions. You can see the big picture and have a good ability to go from words to action. You want to work with high quality and are solution-focused. Since the work is largely done in close collaboration with others, it requires high demands on responsiveness, humility, and leadership ability. You easily adapt to different situations and enjoy social contacts.

You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner (SKR) is a membership and employer organization for Sweden's municipalities and regions. SKR has about 500 employees, and the office is located at Slussen in Stockholm. As an employee at SKR, you have the flexibility to work partly in the office and partly from another location, based on the needs of the organization.
