Back Office Specialist/Analyst

Our client, a leading player in the financial sector, is now looking for a dedicated and experienced Back Office Specialist/Analyst to strengthen their team. In this role, you will play a central part in managing complex financial instruments and corporate actions, thereby directly contributing to the success of the business.

Are you meticulous, structured, and have a strong interest in securities? Here you will have the opportunity to combine analysis, reconciliations, and qualified administrative work in an environment where you can develop both yourself and our internal routines. You will be an important link in managing corporate actions for custody clients and will work closely with both internal and external partners.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will analyze and manage securities as well as the corporate actions that affect them. You will be responsible for daily reconciliations against Euroclear and internal systems, handling tax reporting, and quality assurance of information flows related to corporate actions.

You will be part of an experienced team that ensures processes comply with applicable regulations and standards while contributing to the development of routines and participating in projects and system improvements. The role is suitable for you who are meticulous, solution-oriented, and thrive in an analytical and structured back office environment.

Tasks

• Daily management and analysis of financial instruments and corporate-related events
• Monitor and ensure the quality of information flows related to custody clients.
• Ensure correct handling of corporate actions such as dividends, issuances, mergers, and other corporate events.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure accurate and efficient flows.

• Has solid experience working with securities and corporate actions as well as good knowledge of the VPC system and understanding of financial flows.
• Is analytical, meticulous, and enjoys working in a structured and regulated environment.
• Has a high service mindset and can communicate clearly with both internal and external parties.
• Is solution-oriented, responsible, and has the ability to handle complex information.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Enjoys collaborating in a team but is also self-driven and used to pushing your work forward.
