AB Nykvarnsbostäder is the municipal housing company in Nykvarn. We own and manage around 600 rental apartments and work every day to create safe, pleasant, and sustainable living environments. About the role
AB Nykvarnsbostäder continues to strengthen its finance and management organization and is now looking for a financial administrative rock who wants to work broadly, closely with the business, and with great personal responsibility. With us, you will be a central part of a smaller company where decision-making paths are short and where your work is noticed every day.
The position is divided into two clear areas of responsibility:
- Accounts receivable and rental-related financial administration and
- Ongoing accounting and support to the accounting manager.
Accounts Receivable - approx. 50% of the position
You will be the hub of the financial administration concerning our tenants.
This includes, among other things, that you:
- Establish and administer rental agreements.
- Ensure order in the rental queue, publish objects, and manage expressions of interest.
- Create rental invoices, set up options, and manage ongoing billing related to housing.
- Work with reminders, claims, and debt collection management, including cases to the Enforcement Authority.
- Record all payments from tenants.
- Conduct credit checks of potential tenants.
- Collaborate with property managers on matters related to, for example, reports of concern or other situations where financial and social management intersect.
This is a role for you who thrives on structure, logic, and order and who sees accounts receivable as a business-critical part of the company's finances.
Accounting and daily financial work - approx. 50% of the position
As part of a smaller company, you need to be comfortable working broadly. You assist our accounting manager in the daily financial work, for example:
- Ongoing bookkeeping.
- Reconciliations and administration regarding accruals.
- Documentation and controls for monthly financial statements.
- Financial support to the business at large.
This gives you both development and variation - and a chance to build broad competence in property finance.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in accounts receivable, accounting work, financial administration, or similar roles.
- Has good system skills and preferably has worked in property/rental systems before.
- Previous experience working in Momentum and Visma is an advantage.
- Is meticulous, structured, self-driven, and enjoys a role with many contact surfaces.
- Likes order, processes, and ensuring things are done correctly - for real.
- Has integrity, is meticulous, and confident in the role when handling claims and debt collection matters.
- Is comfortable meeting people in various situations and can meet them with respect and professionalism.
- Has the ability to work independently while appreciating teamwork.
Requirements for this role are:
- Very good communication skills in Swedish - both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word.
If you have worked in the property industry or municipal/company-related activities, it is an advantage but not a requirement.
