Do you want to take full responsibility in accounting while being a key person in a growing company? HQV is now looking for a Senior Accounting Consultant – a role for you who thrives on responsibility and development!

In this role, you will be a central part of HQV and independently drive qualified accounting processes. You will work broadly and closely with the business, from ongoing accounting to the preparation of financial statements and tax returns. You will collaborate with experienced colleagues but also have significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence work methods and routines.

Your main responsibilities

• Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Be responsible for annual reports and documentation
• Prepare income tax returns for companies
• Ongoing accounting and quality assurance of bookkeeping
• Drive and improve routines and processes within accounting and reporting
• Manage accounts payable and receivable as needed (more as an overview than operational focus)
• Tax reporting and communication with authorities
• Analysis, reconciliations, and reporting to the CFO and management

The position is a direct recruitment, which means you will be employed by HQV. StudentConsulting manages the recruitment process. THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is confident in a broad and qualified accounting role and who enjoys taking responsibility for the entire accounting chain. You are self-driven, analytical, and meticulous – and have a professional communication ability that allows you to collaborate well with both colleagues and other functions.

You have:

• 1-3 years of experience working as an accounting consultant

• At least 1 year of experience working independently with financial statements, annual reports, and tax returns

• Relevant post-secondary education in finance

• Good system proficiency and comfort in digital workflows

• Ability to work structured, efficiently, and proactively
