The assignment concerns an accountant for the Record to Report (R2R) team within the finance department of a leading player in the energy sector. R2R is the central function for accounting expertise within the group, with a strong focus on quality and compliance. You will be part of a team responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, statutory reporting (IFRS and local GAAP), financial reports, and external audits. The assignment includes independently driving and being responsible for general ledger activities and closing, as well as acting as an accounting expert towards internal teams, auditors, and external service providers.

In the role of Accounting Professional at the client, you will be responsible for activities in the general ledger in accordance with legal requirements and internal standards. You will be part of a team with high engagement and broad expertise, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are at the center.

Your tasks include:

• Independently drive and be responsible for monthly and annual closings and ensure that deadlines are met.

• Act as a trusted accounting expert and collaborate closely with internal teams, auditors, and external service providers, including partners for outsourcing business processes.

• Prepare financial reports and annual accounts for legal entities and manage the entire reporting process and the external audit process.

• Follow IFRS and statutory accounting rules in all accounting activities.

• Maintain a high standard of service quality, accuracy, and compliance.

• Participate in improvement work together with process experts and contribute to cross-functional projects.

• Education: University degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent with good knowledge of IFRS and Swedish accounting legislation.

• Professional experience in accounting: At least 3–5 years of experience in ongoing accounting and statutory reporting, preferably within a complex organization or group.

• Experience with SAP: Very good knowledge of SAP and the MS Office suite.

• Language skills: Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English.

• Experience working in a larger international group.

• Previous work with process development and optimization of accounting routines.
