Summer Job as Assistant Urban Planner in Solna

As an assistant urban planner, you will independently handle cases according to the Planning and Building Act (PBL), primarily building permits and detailed plans but also environmental permit matters.

The work involves receiving cases that come from municipalities via our case management system W3D3. You will begin processing the case by familiarizing yourself with it and identifying issues that may affect Trafikverket's facilities or interests. You then send the case for internal review, compile incoming comments, make necessary considerations, and formulate statements within the requested response time.

Time period for the summer job: 2026-06-01 - 2026-08-31

Each summer job is advertised separately. This means you need to apply for each summer job you are interested in. If you meet the requirements, you may be considered for several summer jobs and thus contacted by various managers for interviews.

Who are you?

As a person, you are solution-oriented and have the ability to engage with various tasks and resolve situations that arise. You have good collaboration skills, are committed, and perform your tasks reliably. You are motivated by active participation, taking responsibility for your tasks while being aware of how you are part of and contribute to the whole by collaborating with others.

We expect you to:

• be enrolled in a university or college program in urban planning, civil engineering, or physical planning, and be in your 6th semester or later, or have completed such education in 2024 or later.
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
