Supreme Administrative Court is hiring an expedition guard

The Supreme Administrative Court is the highest instance for the general administrative courts. Approximately 85 people work at the Supreme Administrative Court. In addition to the justices, there is a head of the secretariat, heads of preparation, a chief administrator, judicial secretaries, preparation lawyers, court clerks, and administrative staff. The Supreme Administrative Court's premises are beautifully and centrally located in historic buildings on Riddarholmen in Stockholm.

The administrative unit is responsible for the administration of the court by supporting the preparatory and adjudicative activities. The unit is also tasked with providing service to the public. The expedition is part of the administrative unit, and there are three additional employees working in the expedition, one of whom will be on parental leave.

Job Description

You are driven by being part of an important mission where your competence and ability to collaborate with other colleagues are necessary for the entire operation to achieve its goals. You will work in our important team that staffs the court's expedition, takes care of our premises, and supports other employees at the court through internal service.

The role of expedition guard is broad, and the assignment involves a varied workday that requires you to be flexible, quick, and have good planning skills. You are a daily support to all colleagues at the court, which requires the ability to create good relationships, see the whole picture, and pay attention to details. Many internal activities take place at the court, as well as some external representation where you and your colleagues in the unit are an important cog in the wheel for it to function.

You and your closest colleagues are responsible for registering the court's administrative documents. The assignment also involves handling external contacts with visitors, security companies, suppliers, and property owners, which requires you to be clear in your communication and have a high service ability.

You and your closest colleagues also perform customary expedition tasks such as mail handling and goods reception, light furnishing of offices and meeting rooms, as well as administrative tasks such as orders, purchases, and fault reports.

Qualifications

You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.

Previous experience of similar tasks as described above may be advantageous.

As a person, you have a positive attitude and spread positive energy, you are responsible, flexible, and service-oriented. It is important that you enjoy working in a small group with a large shared responsibility. The position requires that you can easily collaborate with different staff categories, but also that you can work independently. You have good judgment and perform your work with great accuracy and professional pride.

Employment Scope

Employment type: temporary position for at least 10 months.
