About the position

In the role of controller, you will support managers and employees in the organization with issues related to budgeting, follow-up, operational planning, and more. You will be responsible for ensuring that controller issues are handled and that departments receive support in their planning work. You will manage the system solutions used within the finance area. Currently, we work with Unit4 ERP (Agresso), Power BI, and Stratsys. You will report to the agency's CFO and work independently in close collaboration with other employees in the unit. In your role, you will also collaborate with other managers and employees in different parts of the organization and work together with the unit's controllers.

About you

We are looking for someone who is proactive and takes responsibility for driving work forward. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working with others. You are willing to share knowledge, listen actively, and contribute to a positive work environment. It is important that you are persistent and flexible as the agency is in a dynamic period of change with new tasks and mandates. You are goal- and results-oriented and driven by achieving clear results. You work in a structured manner, have good planning skills, and maintain focus on the goal throughout the process. In this role, you will have many points of contact, and we expect you to enjoy providing service.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university degree in finance (at least 180 credits or 120 points according to the previous system)
• at least 5 years of relevant experience in public accounting and governance or other qualified accounting
• current work experience as a controller, including work with budget management, follow-up, and forecasting
• work experience in streamlining and implementing new solutions within the finance area
• very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

It is advantageous for the position if you have:

• work experience in managing and developing system support for operational planning and follow-up
• work experience in supporting the business either in an internal support function or as a consultant
• work experience in working with financial information in BI tools
• work experience in participating in large organizational changes.
