HR Specialist in Rehabilitation

Job Description

We are looking for an HR specialist in rehabilitation who independently manages the coordination, leadership, and follow-up of rehabilitation cases from start to finish. In close collaboration with our HR partners, HR specialists, and managers in the operations, you ensure a structured, legally secure, and efficient rehabilitation process. Examples of Current Tasks

  • Drive and coordinate rehabilitation cases from start to finish, according to applicable legislation and internal routines.
  • Initiate, plan, and follow up individual rehabilitation plans together with the relevant manager and employee.
  • Coordinate efforts between the employer, healthcare, occupational health services, the Social Insurance Agency, trade unions, and other relevant actors.
  • Map work ability in dialogue with occupational health services, identify obstacles/measures, and suggest adjustments or redeployment paths.
  • Lead follow-up meetings, document, and follow up on decisions and actions.
  • Provide advice to managers on rehabilitation, work adjustments, and preventive measures.

Qualifications

  • Relevant higher education in e.g. HR, behavioral science, or equivalent background.
  • Several years of experience in leading and coordinating rehabilitation cases in public operations or larger organizations.
  • Good knowledge of occupational health legislation, social insurance systems, and the employer's rehabilitation responsibility.
  • Experience in conducting structured meetings, documenting accurately, and working with follow-up and results.
  • Experience in collaboration with the Social Insurance Agency and occupational health services, as well as work with work adjustments/redeployment.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for a person who is professional and empathetic with strong integrity and good judgment. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have extensive experience in driving processes independently. To fit into the role, it is important that you value collaboration and are clear in your communication, as well as create trust among both employees and managers. You have the ability to handle complex cases and balance the individual's needs with the organization's conditions.

The position is a project employment at 100% during 2026 with a possible extension.

About the Department

The main mission of the HR department is to proactively contribute to the hospital's development and support the managers and employees in HR issues so that they have the right conditions to take care of our patients and relatives in the best way. The HR department is an important partner in the discussion about how we are best equipped to meet future challenges. The department consists of the following units; HR department, AT/BT/ST, Clinicum, Medical Library, and Staffing Center. The HR department has about 90 employees.
