We at People of Finance are now looking for a meticulous and skilled accounting assistant for our client located in very fresh premises in central Stockholm.

About the opportunity

In the role of accounting assistant, you will be the spider in the web. You will manage contact with employees, clients, and suppliers. You will work broadly in the role, and tasks included in the role are, among other things, invoicing, ongoing bookkeeping, incoming and outgoing payments, reconciliations, supplier invoices, and various ad hoc tasks. You will become part of a smaller team where a familiar, ambitious, and results-oriented work environment prevails.

Is this you?

We are looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career and has a university degree or vocational education in accounting. Previous experience in the field is not a requirement, but it is a merit if you have, for example, worked part-time in accounting or completed an internship (LIA) in the field. However, the most important thing for us is your attitude, that you have drive, commitment, and are not afraid to take your own initiatives.

You have good IT and system skills, an interest in digital tools, and thrive in a modern and structured work environment. You are communicative and can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing. As a person, you are flexible, positive, and unpretentious, while also being structured and responsible. You enjoy working on-site in the office, have a strong service focus, and see it as a given to deliver high quality, even when working against deadlines. You are a team player who collaborates well with others but also has the ability to work independently and drive your work forward on your own.

About our client

Our client has a long-standing and solid competence that spans several areas of business law. They have particular expertise in insolvency law, such as bankruptcies and corporate restructurings. The company actively and long-term develops and cares for its employees, which is reflected in many staying for a long time and having the opportunity to further develop through internal role changes. The client has its office in central Stockholm, and this is a direct employment with the client, where a six-month probationary period applies. Start is immediate or as agreed, and employment conditions follow collective agreements. There is an opportunity to work remotely to some extent, but we see that you are on-site the majority of the time, especially initially. This is to quickly get into the role, build relationships, and contribute to the strong community at the workplace.
